I know of a few people who have been on blind dates with varying degrees of success, although I personally don’t think I’d be able to bring myself to do it!

The thing is, I’m very very fussy when it comes to guys, so I’d rather choose my own dates rather than let somebody else take charge.

I’m also really bad at hiding what I think, so if I didn’t like my date they’d pretty much know it straight away- cue massive awkwardness!

I’m sure blind dates work for some people though, so I’d never judge someone else for going on one, but personally it’s really just not for me.

Unless you’re unbelievably lucky, at some point in you’re life you’re bound to find yourself on a date from hell- although the key to cutting this living hell short is being prepared for the worst.

Common reasons for dates turning disastrous include lack of conversation, lack of chemistry and just plain weirdness. By making sure you’re prepared though you can make your excuses (or not!) and leave.

Asking a friend to ring you and pretend there’s an absolute emergency is always a good one, although if you’re find yourself stuck, simply pretend you’re nipping off to the ladies then sprint as fast as your legs will carry you to the nearest exit… sometimes you just have to be cruel to be kind!

If you’ve got a hot date coming up in the next couple of weeks, you’ve probably already started to panic about what you’re going to wear, as the snowy and icy cold conditions leave you a bit limited.

Unless your extremely brave (or are planning on necking a couple of sambucas before you head out of the house) the thought of donning a tiny mini dress with a plunging neckline is likely to send a chill through your bones.

You could team a dress with a thick pair of tights and a funky fur coat and still look super hot though. Alternatively, you can’t go wrong with a pair of uber tight skinny jeans, platform heels and a nice little top.

At the end of the day though, no guy is worth getting hypothermia for, and if he doesn’t like what you’re wearing he can jog on!!

When you have a big date coming up, might find yourself thinking about what you’re going to wear in order to make a lasting impression.

Some women wrongly believe that, in order to have their date coming back for more, it’s essential to have everything on show- but this couldn’t be further from the truth!

For men, there’s nothing worse than dating a girl who insists on getting her cleavage AND legs out in some super tight mini dress. As well as looking really cheap and tacky, no man wants to find themselves having to compete for attention with every other guy in the bar/ restaurant/ cinema.

A nice top and pencil skirt is always a winner- sexy yet sophisticated- and will make your guy the envy of others for miles around- for all of the right reasons!!!

This is a question i think everyone would say NO i don’t think a marriage can survive after an affair but there are so many that do so i can honestly not say the answer to that as i think everyone’s situation is different .

to be honest it does not surprise me that football players are playing away from home but it does shock me that Ronan Keating, Mark Owen & Vernon Kay have been as they don’t seem the type but maybe this shows that there is not a type.

I have been reading a true life magazine and there is a story in there about a lady who gets hired by women to trap their husbands so they can find out if they will cheat on them or not…

Some of them go as far as to sleep with the men to see how far they will take the affair with another person but most of the time a picture of them on a date or even text message will tell the women enough information about their man.

I think this is a brilliant idea for whoever thought of it and i bet they make a fortune.

I have never really needed to but i would hate to go online and meet people from dating sites.  I personally think it is really dangerous as you dont know who you are meeting  but i know people who have done this and met really nice people.

I think this is better for the older people (40+) as there are a lot less single people of that age and over so it is an easy way of meeting them.
